We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team in Pasadena, CA. In this role, you will manage day-to-day financial records and ensure our accounts are accurate, organized, and up to date. Responsibilities
- Coordinate with vendors and track orders to ensure brides' gowns arrive on time
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a regular basis
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely manner
- Assist with payroll processing and related record keeping
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
- Support tax preparation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Maintain organized financial files and documentation
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
