Responsibilities:
- Perform full-service dog grooming including bathing, drying, brushing, and haircuts
- Execute breed-specific cuts and custom styling based on owner preferences
- Safely handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments
- Clean and trim nails, clean ears, and perform other finishing services
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized grooming station and salon area
- Communicate with pet owners regarding grooming needs, coat condition, and service recommendations
- Identify and report any skin, coat, or health concerns observed during grooming
Requirements:
- Prior professional dog grooming experience preferred
- Proficiency in breed-specific cuts and a variety of grooming styles
- Ability to safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Strong knowledge of grooming tools, equipment, and grooming products
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage a steady grooming schedule
- Genuine love and compassion for animals is a must
