Job Summary:
We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical office setting and possess strong administrative skills. As the first point of contact for our patients, the Front Desk Receptionist plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.
Responsibilities:
-Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
- Maintain patient records and update medical history as necessary
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and schedule follow-up appointments
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Manage office supplies and maintain a clean reception area
-Maintain daily copay/payment collection process
-Balance Daily receipts against payment review report
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Medical Records Clerk, Medical Receptionist, or similar role is preferred
- Proficiency in eClinicalWorks, or other electronic medical record systems is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is desirable
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing schedules
