What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Access Representative position at Palo Pinto General Hospital?
Job Summary: Perform all duties associated with efficient registration of patients to all hospital services. Process and file admission records. Responsible for Financial Service functions during the absence of the Financial Services Case Workers. Performs the functions of the switchboard including handling outside and inside calls, requests for information, operating the paging system, and providing related assistance and record keeping service.
Qualifications/Reporting:
Required minimum education: High School graduate equivalent.
Required minimum experience: One year office experience required, preferably in a medical setting.
Required skills (if applicable): Familiar with operating personal computers and knowledge of general clerical duties.
Required license/certification: None required.
