Role Description
This full-time on-site Account Executive role is based in Union City, CA. The Account Executive will focus on building and maintaining customer relationships, developing sales opportunities, and promoting Palo Alto Foods’ wide range of products and services. Key responsibilities include identifying customer needs, offering tailored solutions, providing excellent customer service, and collaborating with internal teams to meet sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction. The role also involves regular communication with clients and active participation in sales strategies and business development efforts.
Qualifications
- Proven sales and relationship management skills, with a focus on understanding customer needs and building long-term partnerships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to effectively convey product value and close deals.
- Strong understanding of the foodservice industry, including broadline products, natural/organic foods, and related supplies, is highly beneficial.
- Time management, organizational skills, and the ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Previous experience in the foodservice or related industries is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is desirable, but equivalent sales experience will be considered.
