Job Summary
Provides competent care to patients in the family practice clinic setting.
Education/Requirements/Knowledge/Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (minimum associate degree nursing).
- A current State of Iowa Nursing License.
- Six months previous ambulatory care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills including time management and work flow.
- Creativity and flexibility.
- Great attention to detail.
- Willingness to accept responsibility and accountability for own actions.
- The ability to serve as a patient advocate.
- The ability to establish and maintain working relationships with clerical and professional staff.
- The ability to follow policies, procedures and guidelines.
- The ability to maintain and display professionalism within the office setting.
- Excellent phone etiquette.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of office equipment
- Maintains certification for assigned work area.
- BLS/CPR Certification
