Role - Sr. Consultant (Leadership Role)
Cranbury, NJ (hybrid) – Long Term Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery Leadership: Drive planning, execution, and delivery of application development projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Technical Oversight: Collaborate with engineering teams on architecture, design, and implementation for frontend, backend, deployment and monitoring.
- Cloud Deployment: Oversee application deployment on hyper-scaler platforms ensuring scalability, security, reliability and observability.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with Product Managers, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders to manage dependencies and mitigate risks.
- Global Team Management: Manage globally distributed development teams, ensuring strong collaboration and high throughput.
- Process Improvement: Implement best practices for agile development, documentation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native application delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Technical: Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in application development (frontend and backend). Strong familiarity with end-to-end architectures for web apps and cloud-native scaling technologies.
- Leadership: Minimum 4 years’ experience as a manager, architect or a technical lead for globally distributed application development teams. Embody Continuous Improvement.
- SDLC: Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle phases, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, change management, deployment, and maintenance.
- Agile Delivery: Proven experience in running sprint cycles (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, story point estimation, velocity, backlog grooming), ensuring timely delivery of features aligned with business priorities. Use tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Monday.com etc. to manage workflows, track progress and communicate effectively.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in media sales, advertising (linear and/or digital)
- Application development and hosting experience in GCP
