JOB SUMMARY:
Clears, cleans, and resets tables and booths. Maintains cleanliness of guest environment, plus cleans and stocks wares in pantry, according to company policies, procedures, programs, and performance standards.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet guests in a friendly and timely manner at the table
- Sort and stack clean/dirty glasses and silverware
- Set/reset tables according to Essensia restaurant standard
- Set up service stations and restock throughout the shift
- Perform cleaning and side work duties as assigned
- Service guests throughout guest's dining experience
- Break down service stations and dining room after closing
- Provide a clean dining area bussing tables in an efficient, courteous and accurate manner
- Deposit dishes appropriately in the dish room or specified area.
- Pull dirty plates from tables while guests are still seated.
- Serve beverages promptly
- Stock bussing stations.
- Clean stations, including sweeping floor using the tools provided.
- Perform buffet set-up and refill if needed.
- Assist in Room Service if needed.
- Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks when necessary.

WORK CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to stand and walk continuously for extended periods (typically 6–8 hour shifts)

- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and squat frequently to clean and reset tables
- Ability to reach overhead and below waist level to handle dishes, glassware, and equipment
- Ability to carry trays and bus tubs safely, maintaining balance while moving through crowded areas
- Ability to perform repetitive motions such as clearing tables, polishing, and resetting dining areas
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment requiring constant movement and quick response
- Ability to use hands and fingers for handling, grasping, and carrying objects
- Ability to maintain physical stamina and endurance throughout the shift
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat, humidity, and noise (kitchen and outdoor dining areas)
