What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety and Compliance assistant position at Palmetto State Transportation?
Track expiring CDL Driver and Equipment qualification documents such as inspections, maintenance reports, CDL's, etc.
Update new documents into online systems as well as file paper copies.
Talk to drivers.
Maintain spreadsheets.
Be trained in and learn motor carrier and driver compliance.
Safety and training systems
Learn Hours of Service regulations and help maintain driver log compliance.
Hours 8:30am- 2:30pm
