JOB PURPOSE

 

This position is responsible for coordinating workflow within the warehouse by pulling new parts due to fallout, quality checking and correcting work pulled to production floor, request and occasionally pulling bulk parts to production. Investigate non-compliant orders, research issues, and resolve issues, communicate needs to other departments, as well as produce regular reports and statistics. 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Ensure the warehouse always has work orders to process and are to track orders to ensure proper fulfillment by warehouse staff.
  • Create, print, and ensure work orders are picked for the production floor.
  • Pull specified receivers for production at the start of production and as needed.
  • Build/Complete Work Orders in NetSuite as the work goes through uncoated cell.
  • Monitor and transfer material between paint to the production floor and inventory shelf.  
  • Responsible creating parts request for production floor bulk parts, by auditing and ensure bins are full and including Receivers, by working with Manufacturing compliance team.
  • Quality check Work Orders on production floor. Correct work orders or working team lead or others to get work orders corrected. Maintain tracking on inaccuracies via Excel or Google Docs
  • Communicate when BOMs are incorrect and needs updating to Supervisor, Manager, Production Manager, and Production Planning team. 
  • Keep tracking on inaccuracies via Excel or Google Docs
  • Physically and systemically pull replacement parts for part fallout on production floor to current process. Ensures Manufacturing employees are red tagging parts that fall out.
  • Updates necessary information in databases and files paperwork for record keeping.
  • Achieves warehouse operational objectives as set by the Supervisor and/or Manager, with guidance from the Director.
  • Conducts daily research to investigate orders in pursuance of a resolution to any issues by requesting inventory, production manager, and Production planning.
  • Creating and updating spreadsheets to directly reflect the daily production numbers and results of each investigation, including resolutions and requests given to the department(s) involved with the actions that are to be taken.
  • Responsible for updating Coordinator SOPs with the input of the Supervisor and/or Manager.
  • Responsible for providing evidence of SOP violations to the Supervisor and/or Manager.
  • Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Fosters a teamwork attitude within the workforce contributing to the productivity goals set by the organization.
  • Executes special projects as assigned by management, to include any other duties that may expand outside of this description to ensure success of the organization.
  • Adheres to the 5S program.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years warehouse experience
  • NetSuite, UPS WorldShip, Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and IT system knowledge is preferred.
  • Managing processes, data entry and management, reporting, analyzing information, dealing with complexity, and deadline-oriented
  • Ability to work with multiple departments and maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Has a career driven attitude with a desire to grow with the company.
  • Detail oriented and dependable
  • Advanced problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
  • Able to work well under stress and keep a professional attitude.

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

Work is performed in an operational warehouse environment. Specific job assignments may require day, evening, weekend, or holiday hours. Overtime may be required.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 

Team members are constantly standing, walking, carrying, twisting, bending, seeing, stooping, balancing, hearing, as well as using ladders and scales, handing paperwork, and PC computer usage. Manual and finger dexterity and a normal range of hearing and vision are necessary. Team members will be lifting objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
