JOB SUMMARY
You will serve on a team whose job is to help Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort by engaging with our guests on the Golf Courses and providing. You will contribute to the success of the Resort by providing excellent food and beverage service to our guests on the golf course. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
· When interacting with each guest, leave them with a “WOW” story to tell about their experience.
· Share customer impact stories with your team in meetings and with management.
· Set-up station and perform assigned opening & closing side work.
· Provide immediate attention to all members/guests upon arrival.
· Take orders of members/guests.
· Suggest and upselling beverages and snack items.
· Verify accuracy of prices, state and federal taxes, tips and other charges on all checks.
· Handle all cash and credit card charges as prescribed by standard operating procedures.
· Keep working areas clean.
· Take out trash from the beverage cart at conclusion of the shift.
· Restock all unused product in either dry storage or cooler(s).
· Spray down the beverage cart with hose and wipe down interior and the windshield.
· Return Handheld POS to RTJ offices and place on charger.
· Advise supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur. It is encouraged to call the Asst. Director of F&B, or Golf Grills Supervisor from the course, if guests have concerns or complaints.
· Perform clean-up/closing duties and ensure that team members are set-up for success on the following day.
· Closing duties include communicating with management and team members restock needs for the next shift.
· Inform managers about any low inventory concerns, to ensure product is always available.
· Attend pre-shift meetings as requested by the F&B Management team.
· Must be at least 21 years of age.
Requirements
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS
Previous bartending experience preferred.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
SENSORY/PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Position requires bending and mobility the entire shift. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Light cleaning duties, such as wiping tables and small equipment, sweeping and refilling stock. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and other employees.
