Palmer Veterinary Clinic is a privately owned mixed animal practice proudly serving the North Country since 1958. Our team is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care to both small and large animals while fostering a positive, collaborative workplace culture.
We are currently looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team!
Position Details
- Pay: $17–$20/hour based on experience
- Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week with a rotating schedule
- Full-time position
What You’ll Do
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting veterinarians and licensed veterinary technicians with patient care
- Animal restraint and handling
- Preparing exam rooms and surgical areas
- Collecting patient histories and assisting with appointments
- Cleaning, stocking, and maintaining hospital organization
- Supporting laboratory, pharmacy, and treatment area tasks
- Providing compassionate client communication and education
- Helping our team maintain an efficient and positive workflow
