What you will do:
- Undertake research, design, and development tasks for manufacturing processes and product designs
- Evaluate the viability and potential advantages of novel manufacturing processes and product designs, presenting findings to senior management
- Pioneer and creates fresh designs to effectively tackle intricate manufacturing hurdles
- Design and procure production equipment, robotic systems, and automation tools as required
- Generate intricate CAD models and drawings to optimize the fabrication process
What you will need to be successful:
- 5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing or mechanical engineering within a production setting
- Exhibited expertise in organization, problem-solving, and decision-making within manufacturing environments
- Established success in designing machinery and machine components, covering shafts, bearings, motors, frames, fixturing, and similar elements
- Direct engagement in two or more manufacturing processes, such as forging, stamping, casting, welding, machining, assembly, and injection molding
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a dedicated focus on collaborative teamwork
