The Customer Account Specialist servesas a critical link between customers, sales, and internal operations (Accounting, Supply Chain, Scheduling), ensuring seamless execution of the order-to-delivery process. This role is responsible for managing customer accounts, processing orders, coordinating timelines, and proactively communicating updates to maintain strong relationships and high service levels. Work Model:
- Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days from home
What You Will Do:
- Serve as a positive role model in all interactions and communications
- Act as a liaison between customers, sales representatives, sales,procurement, management, and manufacturing plants, delivering both professional andtimelycommunication
- Manage customer order verification, entry, changes, confirmation, expediting, and trackingto create aseamless customer experience
- Incorporate strategies to ensure profitability across the existing customer base, including inventory optimization, raw material cost control, and support for Engineering Change Notices
- Foster strong customer relationships, oversee product updates and changes, and partner with Division Managers and Project Engineers
- Develop a broad understanding of thebusiness throughcross-training across divisions and departments
- Prepare and analyze reports, such as the Customer Aging Order Report, to support decision-making and proactive problem-solving
- Maintain both electronic and paper documents and files for customer and company information
- Handlecustomer requests, including returns, quotations, complaintsand samples, consistently providing outstanding customer service
- Travel occasionallyto customer sites and manufacturing facilities to build and maintain engagement and relationships
What You Will Need to Be Successful:
