The Manufacturing Lead is responsible for supporting quality, training, and operational performance within production operations. This role helps drive continuous improvement by monitoring quality results, supporting employee development, and maintaining operational consistency across the department.
Success in this role requires strong leadership, communication, organization, and the ability to maintain productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Shift: Sunday - Thursday 3:30pm - Midnight (overtime as business requires).
Key Responsibilities:
- Review weekly quality control reports and take corrective action to address identified issues.
- Participate in weekly quality meetings to establish and implement team-specific quality goals.
- Attend Team Lead meetings to identify and resolve operational challenges throughout the shop.
- Document, review, and recommend improvements to new hire training procedures.
- Maintain full compliance with new hire onboarding schedules and training expectations.
- Coordinate and track cross-training efforts to support staffing flexibility and operational coverage.
- Support team development while reinforcing adherence to quality, safety, and operational standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Two or more years of experience in production or a related field.
