The Machine Operator is responsible for interpreting work orders to identify door specifications, selecting and modifying components, and using various tools to fabricate and assemble fiberglass, aluminum, and wood products. This role requires safely moving doors between stations (up to 75 lbs), performing quality inspections, and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment while supporting overall production operations.
Shift: Sunday - Thursday 2pm - 10:30pm (overtime as business requires).
Key Responsibilities:
- Read work orders to determine production specifications for each door.
- Locate, pull, and modify door slabs and components to meet order requirements.
- Use hand and power tools to fabricate, assemble, and disassemble fiberglass, aluminum, and wood products.
- Move doors between production stations, handling materials up to 75 lbs.
- Inspect finished products for defects, production errors, and quality issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, performing light maintenance and other assigned tasks.
