We’re hiring a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled home health care services throughout San Francisco area. You’ll work with an interdisciplinary team and deliver care that helps patients recover safely and independently at home.
Employment Type: Per Diem
Area Coverage: San Francisco County (travel required to patient homes)
Responsibilities
- Perform in-home nursing care, including IV therapy, wound care, and assessments
- Monitor patient conditions and update care plans as needed
- Manage cases and provide follow-up visits
- Help patients maintain independence and manage their health at home
- Perform other related duties as assigned that may not be listed here but are essential to supporting patient care and agency operations
As a Per Diem Palmeira Home Health Registered Nurse Nurse, you can expect:
- Competitive, bi-weekly: per visit rate
- FULL IRS Mileage Reimbursement: of $0.725 per mile
- New Hire training: for 1-3 days

Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in an acute care setting as a Registered Nurse
- Possess a Registered Nurse license in the State of California
- Possess a current and valid BLS (CPR) / ACLS
- A copy of a Negative TB test result and Flu Shot (within the last year)
- A copy of Immunization/Vaccination Records (Covid19, Hep B, MMR, TDaP, Varicella)
- Possess a Driver's License with auto-insurance
Additional Requirements:
- Must be willing to travel to patient homes
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs
- Must have no health restrictions that would interfere with patient care
