Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Director in SUD treatment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in program development and management, ensuring that our programs meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent relationship management skills, capable of supervising staff and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
Duties
- Develop, implement, and oversee programs that support individuals suffering with substance use , ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage day-to-day operations of programs, including administrative tasks, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Supervise program staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance and professional growth.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, families, community partners, and promote program visibility and collaboration.
- Monitor program effectiveness through data collection and analysis, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices in line with DHCS/ Joint Commission standards.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on best practices in SUD treatment.
Experience
- Proven experience in program development and management within the SUD Treatment field.
- Strong administrative skills with a focus on budgeting and resource management.
- Demonstrated ability in relationship management, effectively engaging with diverse population.
- Experience supervising teams and managing personnel effectively.
- Familiarity with case management, FMLA, ASAM criteria, and Legal issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey information clearly and effectively.
Requirements are:
CADAC I,II, or III, or equivalent.
CPR/First Aid.
Current Tb result.
DHCS Health screen.
3 years supervisory experience in leadership roles.
Valid Drivers license.
Experience with Kipu EMR a plus.
Case management experience, Knowledge of DHCS/TJC compliance, Experience working in Detox/RTC level of care preferred.
Clinical and Operational Chart auditing skills.
AMA Blocking/ De-escalation skills
Crisis intervention skills.
Good Clinical documentation skills
Good communication skills.
(Schedule 5 days a week 8 hours per day on site/ on call availability
