Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center is now interviewing Mental Health Techs for Evening and Night shifts.
Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center provides quality mental health care and education services for adolescents, ages 11–17 who are experiencing behavioral, emotional, educational, family and social challenges.
The Mental Health Techs/MHTs provide direct patient care duties in a residential behavioral health setting.
Must be able to attend 7 day paid orientation 8 am to 4:30 pm.

Additional Requirements:
- Physical agility to manage patients and complete restraint training (Handle With Care). Push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to set and maintain therapeutic distance with clients; maintain therapeutic boundaries during treatment and following discharge.
- Must be able to read, understand, and follow: policies, procedures, and written treatment plans.
- May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.
- Successful completion of CPR Certification and successful completion of Handle with Care prior to assisting with a restraining procedure and within 7 days of employment.
