Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center is a 65-bed residential treatment facility that provides treatment to adolescent boys and girls, ages 11 – 17. Treatment includes behavioral, emotional, and psychiatric interventions as well as education. Our treatment philosophy is based on trauma-informed care principles and offers distinct progressive phases of care. Located in Manatee County, Southwest Florida offers a diverse mix of lifestyle options. Qualifications:
- Master's Degree required
- Bachelor's Degree required if RN
- A working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations.
- An advanced knowledge of state and federal regulatory and various accreditation requirements related to behavioral health management.
- Strong knowledge of Joint Commission, federal and state regulatory standards.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Knowledge of crisis and behavior management.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills in order to communication in a clear a concise manner with patients, families, all regulatory and law enforcement agencies
- Knowledge of healthcare quality and risk management principles
