Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience
- Manage POS systems such as Clover POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Take orders efficiently, handle cash transactions accurately, and perform basic math calculations for billing purposes
- Restock bar supplies, monitor inventory levels, and communicate needs to management promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender, preferably in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse guests confidently
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly within licensed establishments; familiarity with food industry standards is preferred
- Basic math skills for cash transactions, retail math understanding, and accurate order calculations
