Job Summary
Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) – Full-Time
Location: Upper Hudson Valley Region, Upstate New York (2 hours north of NYC, 45 minutes south of Albany)

Position Highlights
- Primary Role: First surgical assist for gynecologic and general surgical cases, with opportunities to assist in additional subspecialty surgeries.
- Responsibilities Include:
- First assist in surgeries
- Writing pre-op and post-op orders
- Supporting efficient surgical scheduling
- Rounding on inpatients
- Performing surgical consults in the Emergency Department and hospital floors
- Setting: Primarily outpatient with some inpatient responsibilities
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Call: Rotating schedule, limited to emergent OR cases only
Team Environment
- Surgical Team Includes:
- 3 general surgeons
- 3 gynecologic surgeons
- 2 full-time surgical PAs
- 1 first-assist nurse practitioner
