Position Summary
The Palm Coast–Flagler Chamber of Commerce is seeking a driven, relationship-focused professional to lead membership growth, engagement, and event strategy. This role is central to advancing the Chamber’s mission of strengthening local business and driving economic vitality across Flagler County.
This is a high-impact position with direct ownership of membership development, event execution and performance, and key member engagement programs. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on – someone who thrives on building connections, delivering results, and elevating the member experience.
Key Responsibilities
Membership Growth & Engagement
- Lead recruitment, retention, and engagement efforts for Chamber members
- Build and manage a consistent pipeline of prospective members
- Strengthen relationships through proactive outreach and meaningful touchpoints
- Deliver a best-in-class member experience that reinforces the value of Chamber investment
Events & Programming
- Plan, execute, and evaluate a dynamic calendar of Chamber events
- Own event performance, including budgeting and financial outcomes
- Enhance event quality, attendance, and member value through continuous improvement
- Ensure events reflect the Chamber’s brand and serve as catalysts for positive connection and business growth
Leadership of Engagement Programs
- Lead and grow the Chamber’s Ambassador Program
- Provide leadership to the Membership Committee to drive engagement and retention
- Cultivate a welcoming, connected business community through intentional programming
Communications & Visibility
- Partner in the execution of all Chamber communications (email, digital, social, etc.).
- Contribute to a consistent and strategic communication cadence
- Help amplify member success stories and Chamber impact in the community
Systems & Operational Excellence
- Maintain strong working knowledge of the Chamber’s CRM (GrowthZone) and communication platforms
- Ensure accurate tracking of membership activity, engagement, and event performance
- Leverage data and reporting to inform decisions and improve outcomes
