Prewire Technician
Palm Beach Electronics – West Palm Beach, FL
Pay: $15–$20 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday, 7:45am – 4:15pm (30-minute lunch)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Prewire Technician to join our installation team. This role is responsible for the installation of cabling infrastructure during the pre-construction phase of residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience pulling cable for phone, data, audio/video, CCTV, and automation systems, with a focus on accuracy, organization, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Pull and install low-voltage cabling for phone, data, audio/video, CCTV, and automation systems.
- Ensure wiring is completed cleanly, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
- Follow county/city codes and company installation standards.
- Assist with labeling, testing, and documenting cable runs.
- Support lead technicians and work as part of the installation team.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
- Experience with low-voltage cabling installation (phone, data, A/V, CCTV, automation).
- Basic knowledge of county/city electrical codes.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must be drug free and able to pass screenings.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to problem solve.
- Ability to work well independently and with others.
- Comfortable with physical labor and working on active construction sites.
