Job Summary

The CAM Community Association Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of community associations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and fostering positive relationships among residents, vendors, and board members. This role involves administrative oversight, property management duties, team coordination, and effective communication to maintain a well-functioning community environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, proficiency in property management tools and Microsoft Office, and a solid understanding of Fair Housing regulations and lease management.

Duties

• Serve as the primary liaison between the board of directors, residents, vendors, and other professionals to facilitate smooth communication and resolve issues promptly.
• Assist the board in implementing policies and decisions in accordance with applicable statutes and community guidelines.
• Prepare meeting agendas, attend board meetings, and record detailed minutes to ensure accurate documentation of discussions and resolutions.
• Maintain official association records in compliance with Florida statutory requirements or relevant local regulations.
• Manage administrative functions including correspondence, reports, and documentation related to community operations.
• Oversee property management activities utilizing appropriate tools to ensure proper maintenance, repairs, and vendor coordination.
• Handle lease or rental agreement management to ensure compliance with community policies and legal standards.
• Manage budgets effectively by monitoring expenses, preparing financial reports, and assisting with financial planning for the community.
• Supervise team members involved in community operations to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and professionally.
• Communicate regularly with residents through client communication channels to address concerns, provide updates, and foster a positive community atmosphere.
• Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations in all aspects of community management practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in property management or a related field within a community association setting.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting, correspondence, and record keeping.
• Experience with property management tools or software is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
• Knowledge of lease or rental agreement management processes.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and applicable statutes governing community associations.
• Ability to manage budgets accurately while maintaining transparency and accountability.
• Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate staff effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and administrative tasks.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
