- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, and order fulfillment to meet operational targets.
- Manage warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and supervision to ensure safety and productivity standards are maintained.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently for material handling, stacking, and moving goods within the warehouse.
- Implement process improvements using lean principles and continuous improvement strategies to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Oversee procurement activities related to warehouse supplies and materials management while maintaining budget adherence.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to forklift operation, shipping & receiving procedures, and warehouse distribution standards.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision with strong leadership skills in supervising teams within a fast-paced environment.
- Extensive knowledge of supply chain management including inventory control, procurement, production planning, and logistics.
- Hands-on forklift certification with demonstrated safe operation of forklifts in a busy warehouse setting.
- Strong understanding of lean methodologies, process improvement initiatives, and continuous improvement practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to analyze supply chain data for demand planning and operational enhancements.
