What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) position at Palisades Properties, LLC.?
Sober Living Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for the complete care and well-being of the clients while they are living at the sober living residence.
Schedule:
- 8 Hour Shift
- Saturday - Sunday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (hours flexible but availability for weekends mandatory) Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM

EXPERIENCE
- Graduation from High School or GED
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar position or similar function (Preferred)
- Maintains current CPR certification (Preferred)
- Narcan Training (Preferred)
- Recovery knowledge/knowledge of the 12 steps/working with a sponsor (Preferred)
- Education in recovery field (Preferred)
- Certification in addiction studies or in the process of obtaining (Preferred)
- Builds positive relationships with staff
- Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility to changes in the work environment
- Follows Infection Control Guidelines as all times
- Completes and forwards Incident Reports and any other safety/risk concerns to the Director of Housing
- Provides a safe, therapeutic environment for staff and clients.
- Provides a daily report to management
- Direct and monitor clients
- Transport clients as necessary
Experience:
- Recovery/Step work: 2 years (Preferred)
- Sober Living/ Addiction treatment: 1 year (Preferred)
- Management in a substance abuse environment
