What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Driver position at PALFINGER AG?
Your Responsibilities
- Perform trailer movements, including safely backing into docks and positioning trailers within the yard.
- Operate commercial trucks for local and regional deliveries, ensuring timely and professional service to customer sites.
- Safely operate forklifts to load materials and equipment into trailers.
- Accurately move and place materials in tight spaces, including stacking and securing pallets and bundled goods.
- Support daily shipping and receiving operations while maintaining productivity and safety standards.
- Assist with additional warehouse and operational tasks as needed to keep workflows running efficiently.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Class A CDL required.
- Minimum of 2 years of forklift operating experience.
- Ability to climb onto trailers for loading and inspection, and regularly lift up to 100 lbs.
- Strong spatial awareness with solid mechanical aptitude.
- Proven ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
