POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Administrator is responsible for assisting the warehouse team by processing computer transactions and required documentation to facilitate dock scheduling, inbound materials receipts, outbound shipments, and various inventory transactions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities.
- Create/track dock appointments for inbound and outbound shipments, check in drivers, and communicate with vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
- Verify required receiving paperwork for inventory, processing receiving transactions and entering counts into system during physical inventory.
- Verify materials shipped to actual documentation, processing outbound transactions including creation of applicable documents, document export shipment verification of both physical materials and required documents, and process transfer orders to storage locations upon arrival.
- Assist in the creation of tools for tracking and in the tracking of performance related metrics and reports using spreadsheets and presentation software.
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiencies and suggest improvements.
- Order and management of supply inventories including uniforms, office suppliers, and other required plant supply needs.
- Assist with documentation for procedures, create supporting forms, and coordinate flow of information to required warehouse personnel.
- Performs all applicable training for the administrative group and assigned warehouse personnel.
- Support and promote all company policies including maintaining company expectations for people and food safety.

EDUCATION, SKILLS & ABILITIES
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required.
Experience:
3 years’ experience in warehousing or transportation documentation and processing is required.
Computer Skills:
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite.

Familiarity with reading and understanding Orders, Bills of Lading, Export Documents.
