Job Description
This role is responsible for overseeing the Waukesha Warehouse and Showroom as well as our Kenosha and Appleton locations on an as-needed basis (15% travel).
Management to include, but not be limited to, shipping/receiving, inventory control, maintenance of stock and customer products, office cubicle inventory and customer project needs, pulling products for customer projects, staging and assembling desks, chairs, workstations, and cubicles.
Experience Required:
- 2 years of experience with cubicle systems and modular office furniture
- 2 years of experience with disassembly and removal of cubicle systems and other office furniture
- 2 years of experience with delivering and Installing cubicle systems and other office furniture
- Warehouse management or supervisory experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Working knowledge of warehouse systems, processes, and inventory control
- Able to work in a physical, fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Manage shipping and receiving ensuring cubicle systems and modular office furniture is received are reconciled and properly stocked in the warehouse(s) and showroom(s)
- Communicate with other departments to ensure cubicle systems and modular office furniture is received, handled and stored in the most optimal and organized manner
- Manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient processes for receiving, storing, and dispatching cubicle systems and modular office furniture
- Process cubicle systems and modular office furniture inventory and maintain accurate data in the inventory system
- Audit and report cubicle systems and modular office furniture inventory and make recommendations for process improvement
- Oversee daily cycle counts for cubicle systems and modular office furniture inventory accuracy
- Keep the warehouse and showroom clean and orderly
- Work alongside the warehouse associates to load/unload trucks as needed
- Manage warehouse associates’ schedules to minimize overtime
- Identify areas for improvement and train the warehouse associates to be proficient in their roles, enhance team performance and knowledge of cubicle systems and modular office furniture
- Act as the safety leader ensuring all safety standards are met
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes
- Identify areas for improvement in warehouse efficiency and implement necessary changes
Salary : $50,000 - $70,000
