Located in Milwaukee's Menomonee River Valley, Villa Palermo is home to our corporate headquarters, manufacturing operations, and Pizzeria 3301, where employees and guests enjoy fresh, made-to-order meals every day.

When you'll work...

We're currently hiring a 3rd Shift Café Associate at our Canal Street location.

Schedule: 7:00 p.m. – 3:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime based on business needs.

What you'll do...

• Prepare ingredients for daily pizza and café food production, including portioning meats, vegetables, cheeses, sauces, and other ingredients.
• Prepare dough, sauces, toppings, sandwiches, salads, soups, pizzas, and other menu items according to recipes and production schedules.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests, operating the point-of-sale system, handling transactions, and recommending menu items.
• Label, date, rotate, and store products using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and safe food storage procedures.
• Follow all ServSafe food safety guidelines, including proper handwashing, glove use, and sanitation procedures.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, prep tables, coolers, utensils, and food-contact surfaces.
• Receive deliveries, properly store inventory, monitor stock levels, and communicate replenishment needs.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, special events, and other projects to support smooth café operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen while supporting teammates throughout the shift.

What you'll bring...

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of restaurant, food service, or commercial kitchen experience.
• Passion for food, customer service, and learning new culinary skills.
• Ability to obtain ServSafe Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn POS systems and new technology.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Dependable attendance and a commitment to food safety, quality, and customer service.
