The district operates 4 school sites: Helen Wilcox, grades TK through 3rd, Golden Hills, grades 4th through 5th, Palermo Middle School, grades 6th through 8th and Honcut, grades Pre-K through 3rd. Requirements / Qualifications
1. Possess a High School Diploma or its recognized equivalent, AND
2. Completed two years of higher education study (48 units), OR
3. Obtained an Associate's Degree (or higher), OR
4. Passed a state or local exam (CODESP) that demonstrates: knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing, reading, writing, and mathematics, OR instructing, reading readiness, writing readiness, and mathematics readiness, as appropriate.
