What You’ll Do…
As our Warehouse Yard Dog, you’ll be the key to keeping our trailers moving and our operations flowing. You’ll…
- Safely move trailers between docks and yard locations to ensure timely flow of materials.
- Operate a yard truck with precision in tight spaces and congested areas.
- Place jack stands, wheel chocks, and glad hand locks properly and consistently.
- Keep accurate logs and inspection reports for yard activities and vehicles.
- Prep trailers for loading, clean as needed, and manage refrigerated trailer units.
- Fill in as needed in freezer, cooler, or dock areas to maintain your skills and help your team.
- Strong focus on safety and awareness in high-traffic yard environments
- Ability to climb in and out of tractors repeatedly and operate yard equipment confidently
- Forklift experience or ability to become certified
- Prior yard dog, CDL, or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in both cold (40°F) and freezer (-10°F) conditions as part of the job
- Class A CDL required
