1st Shift
What You’ll Do…
- Pick and stage finished goods orders in a fast-paced freezer warehouse environment
- Load outbound trucks accurately and efficiently to meet delivery schedules
- Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts (training provided)
- Ensure product is handled safely and maintained at proper storage conditions
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and loading areas
- Support team operations by adapting to daily workload and priorities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy
- Willingness to operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts)
- Dependable and team-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in cold/freezer conditions for extended periods
- Team player with excellent communication skills ready to work hard to ensure the whole Palermo’s team succeeds.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not required
- Forklift experience is a plus; training and certification provided
- Ability to work scheduled shift and overtime as needed
- Work is performed in a freezer environment (cold temperatures)
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Regular operation of forklifts and movement of palletized product
