We are hiring for an Associate I Help Desk role in Birmingham, AL. Seeking candidates with 1-5 years of experience in Help Desk, Service Desk, Desktop Support, or IT Support environments.
Location: Birmingham, AL 35242
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18-$20/hour
Duration: Long-term contract with potential for hire
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level IT support to end users
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Respond to and document support requests in a ticketing system
- Resolve issues remotely or escalate as needed
- Support Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office/O365, and end-user devices
- Deliver excellent customer service and meet SLA requirements
Requirements:
- 1-5 years of Help Desk, Technical Support, or Desktop Support experience
- Experience with Windows OS, Microsoft Office/O365, Active Directory, and remote support tools
- Knowledge of ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Remedy, Zendesk, or similar
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- CompTIA A , Network , or similar certification preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
