Job Summary
For decades, our Country Inn has been a beloved part of the coastal community — one of the first inns in the area, known for its warmth and character. Nestled on four peaceful acres close to town, the Point Reyes National Seashore, and a short walk from Tomales Bay. The Inn features five guest rooms, each with it's own balcony or patio, a cozy grooms quarters, and two bayfront cottages located off of the Inn property.

We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and hands-on Innkeeper to oversee daily operations and keep our Inn running smoothly. You’ll be the heart of the property — greeting guests, managing reservations, preparing breakfast, coordinating with our housekeeper/groundskeeper, and pitching in wherever needed to maintain our signature charm.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest check-ins, reservations, and communications
• Oversee housekeeping and property upkeep (assist as needed)
• Provide breakfast service and ensure a warm, welcoming atmosphere
• Manage inventory, light maintenance, and daily operations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization across all guest areas
• Collaborate with the owner to enhance guest experience and support business growth
• Social Media presence

Qualifications

• Warm, personable, and detail-oriented
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and multitask
• Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
• Available weekends and holidays
• Comfortable with generating social media and website updates
• Light handyman or fix-it skills a plus
• Able to lift 40lbs from the floor
• Able to travel up and down stairs

Pay

Competitive and commensurate with experience; lodging accommodation (considered a piece of salary) may be considered for the right candidate

Schedule

• Primarily daytime hours, with flexibility for occasional evening guest arrivals & needs
