What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Coordinator position at Pak Dental?
Pak Dental is a modern, privately owned dental office in Auburn Hills. We opened a year ago with a simple goal: build a small office where the team actually likes coming to work, and where patients feel that the moment they walk in. One year in, that's real. Our patients are our neighbors, and they come back because of how they're treated here.
We're growing and looking for one more person to join our front office.
What you'll do
- Greet and check in patients, and set the tone for their entire visit
- Schedule and confirm appointments, and keep the daily schedule running smoothly
- Verify insurance eligibility, submit claims, and handle coding questions
- Answer phones, respond to patient questions, and follow up on treatment
- Collect payments and help patients understand their coverage and options
- Jump in wherever the practice needs you
What we're looking for
- At least 1 year of dental front office experience
- Working knowledge of dental insurance codes, submission, and eligibility
- Excellent communication skills and genuine warmth with patients
- Comfort with technology and willingness to learn new systems
- Open Dental experience is a plus, not a requirement
