Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizza styles following established recipes and standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, safely and efficiently.
- Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients and suggesting new pizza toppings or styles.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety procedures including sanitizing surfaces and tools regularly.
- Support food production processes including dough making, topping assembly, and baking to ensure timely service.
- Follow food safety management practices to prevent cross-contamination and ensure high-quality food handling.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of food presentation and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, restaurant work, or culinary environments is preferred; experience with fine dining or high-volume production is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, food handling regulations, and proper kitchen hygiene practices.
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely.
