What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pizza Cook position at Macerola’s Pizza Gram Plus?
We are hiring for a relatable and hard working pizza cook to join our team .
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas using traditional and innovative techniques, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Follow detailed recipes and menu specifications to meet customer expectations and maintain brand standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and other appliances safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations in accordance with food safety procedures and sanitizing protocols
- Assist with food preparation tasks including ingredient prep, portioning, and assembling toppings for optimal presentation
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure perfect crusts, toppings, and overall pizza quality
- Collaborate with team members to manage high-volume production during busy service hours while maintaining attention to detail
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, especially within restaurant or catering environments; high-volume production experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices, including sanitizing procedures and proper food handling technique.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on delivering exceptional food service experiences
Pay: $18.00 per hour
