Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Thursday 7am-4pm & Friday 7am-11am

Compensation: $18-22/hour
Duties & Responsibilities:

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet patients during Pre-Op or PACU to schedule next visits.
- Communicates with patients, provides pre-procedure instructions, and coordinates with the clinic staff to obtain signatures on all necessary paperwork.
- May schedule, submit, and/or maintain the procedure schedule in accordance with clinic and ASC guidelines.
- Provides booking sheets to the ASC and coordinate changes to the booking schedule as needed.
- Contact the patient to confirm the procedure date and time and provide answers to any additional questions.
- Maintains tracking records via the approved methods, which may include the HER, Excel, or Smartsheet.
- May provide coverage for Receptionists and/or as needed.
- Required to sit for long periods.
- Must be able to communicate with or without reasonable accommodations – speak and hear.
- Able to use both hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Performs other duties as required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associates degree or higher in a medical-related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year in a clinical setting required, preferably with an interventional pain clinic.
- Minimum of 1 year as a procedure scheduler or prior authorizations coordinator preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10 codes, and insurance requirements.
- Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal.
- Empathetic toward the condition of the patient and the stressors they are encountering as a result of their pain.
