Opportunity Details:

• The Physician Assistant will be assigned to work inLabor & Delivery (L&D), Mother-Baby Unit, and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
• Working under the supervision of the Attending Physician, the Physician Assistant will collaborate closely with the Resident Physicians and Attending Physicians/Neonatologists assigned to the unit.
• Provide direct patient care including, procedures, blood draws, attending deliveries, conducting daily patient assessments, and implementing daily patient care plans.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Collaborate closelywith Social Services and Nursing staff and will attenddischarge planning meetings.

• Current NYSPhysician Assistant registration
• Current certification issued by the NCCPA
• Must be able to work efficiently in a team environment
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends

Hourly Rate = $85* per hour
