New York Dental Affiliates (NYDA) is adding an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to the group at NYC Health Hospitals/Kings County. Kings County Hospital operates a world-renowned Level 1 Trauma Center, one of only three in Brooklyn, which serves 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island.The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences Universityto maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details:
- Direct patient care.
- Supervision/Teaching/Guidance of house staff and other members of the medical team.
- Assist in the maintenance of standard of performance of physicians and of other professional employees working in the service.
- Attends weekly staff conferences and committee work meetings.
- Organizes and supervises clinical trials at Kings County Hospital, when requested.
- Provide lectures as directed by Chief of Service.
- License to practice Dentistry in New York State.
- License to practice Dental Anesthesia in New York State.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified Oral and MaxillofacialSurgeon.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $104,520* (board eligible); $107,640* (board certified) based on 12-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
