TAIT is looking for experienced Freelance Producers (U.S.-based) to support a major project taking place on-site in Washington, DC from mid‑May through mid‑June 2026. Travel and accommodations will be provided.
This is a temporary contract role, not a full-time staff position.

As a Freelance Producer, you’ll be a key operational leader driving the planning, coordination, and execution of the project. You’ll manage logistics, schedules, vendors, budgets, and client communications from kickoff through wrap. This role requires flexibility, cross‑department collaboration, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Execution
- Lead cross-departmental project advance and on-site execution.
- Develop strategy, operations plans, schedules, crew calls, and client deliverables.
- Communicate project status and ensure alignment across teams.
- Support Account Management, Operations, Patron Journey, Creative, Commercials, and other departments as needed.
- Contribute to RFP development, procurement, staffing, project communications, timelines, and supplier advancing.
- Support drawing development and internal documentation.
- Assist with pitch decks, strategy meetings, and summit/conference prep.
- Take point on new client requests when needed.
- Prepare and manage client-facing documentation, presentations, and operational plans.
- Oversee and support onboarding of additional team members on the project.
- Provide leadership, direction, and clear communication across departments.
- Co-own assigned budgets with the Budget Producer.
- Create estimates, track changes, manage vendor quotes, and close out budgets.
- 8 years of event management, production, or related experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong project management and budget management abilities.
- Highly organized with a detail‑driven, proactive approach.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Airtable, and similar tools.
- Positive, solutions-oriented attitude with the ability to work under pressure.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and irregular hours based on event needs.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
- Professionalism, discretion, and tact when handling sensitive information.
