The Freelance Event Sponsorship Manager leads planning and execution of event logistics across the event lifecycle, as it relates to all sponsorship fulfillment on site.

The Freelance Event Sponsorship Manager leads planning and execution of event logistics across the event lifecycle, as it relates to all sponsorship fulfillment on site.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a key point of contact for the client Sponsorship & Festival team in regards to all sponsorship site elements:
- Act as a key point of contact for sponsors and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Work with sponsors to develop creative production timelines that align with their objectives and enhance the event experience.
- Work with sponsors to determine what site elements the event will need to provide for their activation and procure those elements.
- Work with the event production team to determine the appropriate location for an activation on the site plan.
- Oversee the successful execution of sponsorship activations, coordinating with EventDirector, Project Lead, internal team, and vendors to ensure seamless delivery; taking into consideration venue capabilities, budget, labor agreements, policies, and available resources
- Oversee the procurement process for sponsorship site elements (Heavy equipment, IT, fencing, water, ground protection, ect.) Tracking all quotes & expenses.
- Oversee all sponsorship trucking & site access.
- Manage onsite vendors and labor including: Sponsorship truck marshall and sponsorship site person.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by sponsors in a timely and constructive manner.
- Ensure the communication and documentation is well distributed to both internal team members, clients and crew. This will include regular information distributions both upstream to client and downstream to staff/crew/vendors (including and not limited to weekly calls, document distros, shared directories, etc.)
- Anticipate production changes/delays and proactively propose solutions to reduce negative impacts
- Additional duties as needed to contribute to accomplishing team effort
- Ideal candidates would have 4 years or more of on site event experience.
- Have excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both verbal & written
- Positive, “can do” attitude.
- Computer skills: Macintosh OS or Window platform using Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Experience using AirTable, Google docs, or similar database and tracking software
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
- Evaluate approaches and discover efficiencies
- Formulate strategy and direction
- Play a key role in communications with all stakeholders and all departments.
- Strong project management and budget experience.
