Based out of the Page Mechanical Group facility in Ft Myers, FL, and reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Plumber is responsible for troubleshooting, repair and maintenance tasks on commercial accounts in the Fort Myers metro area.

The skilled Commercial Service Plumber will install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in commercial buildings, such as offices, schools, hospitals, and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate should have expertise in reading blueprints, diagnosing plumbing issues, and ensuring compliance with local building codes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in commercial properties.
• Plumbing service calls for leaks/blockages in domestic and sanitary plumbing systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and low water pressure. Sanitary drains, running sewer snakes and jetting
• Work with pipe systems including copper, PVC, cast iron, and PEX.
• Install and repair water heaters, pumps, water supply lines, and drainage systems. Plumbing fixture repairs/replacements (faucets, valves, flushometers, water closets/urinals, etc)
• Other service plumbing responsibilities: Excavating, Underground piping leak repairs and sewer camera (preferred); Domestic water supply with booster pumps; Water heaters- electric/gas (a plus)
• Ensure all plumbing work meets local, state, and federal plumbing codes and regulations.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and other defects.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• 5 Years Commercial Plumbing Service Jobs Experience
• Copper, Solder, PVC/CPVC -required
• Groove Pipe, Weld Steel Pipe, - a plus
• Threaded Pipe, Pro Press, Copper, Braze- preferred
• Backflow certification a Plus
• Must be able to install fixtures, make plumbing repairs to all systems, and be proficient in running drain calls and sewer machine operations.
• Ability to work alone and go on service calls with a professional customer service attitude is a must.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds repetitively.
• Must be able to physically perform frequent ladder work.
• Must adhere to all OSHA and Page Mechanical safety policies and procedures.
