Description
- Advise clients on legal aspects of energy transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and project development.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and agreements related to energy projects.
- Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for energy-related transactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide strategic legal guidance on regulatory compliance and market trends.
- Represent clients in negotiations and provide solutions to legal challenges in energy projects.
- Support the development of innovative legal strategies to address client needs in the energy sector.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of energy laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Profile
A successful Energy Transactions Associate should have:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admittance, and in good standing, to the Texas State Bar.
- Strong expertise in energy law and related legal frameworks.
- Proven ability to handle complex energy transactions and contracts.
