SOCIAL MEDIA & COMMUNITY MANAGER
Padel X – Miami & Boca Raton
Part-Time Contractor (1099)
This is a contractor position; however, the role requires in-person presence at clubs and events, as well as participation in scheduled online and in-person team meetings.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
WHAT THIS ROLE OWNS
• Social media planning and execution across all active platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn)
• Content production (photo, video, reels, stories, short-form)
• Daily publishing, engagement, and community interaction
• Visual consistency and brand integrity across digital channels
• Quarterly performance tracking and reporting
• Real-time event coverage and digital storytelling
• Creative direction and prioritization for social-related brand assets
WHAT THIS ROLE SUPPORTS (BUT DOES NOT OWN)
• Overall marketing strategy and campaign direction
• Paid advertising strategy and media buying
• Partnerships and commercial negotiations
• Event calendar strategy and programming decisions
These remain under the Marketing Manager and top management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Planning & Production
• Execute the approved content calendar defined with the Marketing Manager
• Plan and deliver content supporting:
• Tournaments
• Events & activations
• Membership growth
• Academy programming
• Brand partnerships
• Capture and edit original content (Reels-first mindset, with LinkedIn-ready formats as needed)
• Maintain strong visual identity across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
• Organize and maintain a structured digital content archive
Creative Direction & Brand Alignment
• Provide clear creative briefs to the brand/design team when assets are required
• Provide copy direction, messaging hierarchy, and visual references
• Prioritize social-related creative needs based on content calendar and campaign timelines
• Ensure final deliverables align with platform best practices
• Coordinate with external photographers and videographers by:
• Providing brief shot lists
• Sharing visual references/mood direction
• Communicating event objectives and key moments to capture
• Managing timelines for content delivery
Social Media Execution & Daily Management
• Schedule and publish content consistently
• Monitor and respond to DMs, comments, and tags
• Repost user-generated content strategically
• Engage with members, players, sponsors, and local businesses
• Support WhatsApp group communications when needed
• Cross-post and optimize content per platform (including LinkedIn)
Event Coverage & On-Site Presence
• Attend key tournaments, activations, and community events
• Capture live content during events
• Post Stories and Reels in real-time to drive engagement
• Act as the digital lead on-site for content capture
• Ensure strong post-event recap content
• Be available for evening and weekend coverage when necessary
Growth, Analytics & Reporting
• Track and report quarterly KPIs including:
• Engagement rate
• Reach & impressions
• Saves & shares
• Follower growth
• Deliver quarterly performance summaries and recommendations
• Identify trends and viral opportunities
• Propose improvements based on performance insights
Brand & Digital Consistency
• Protect and elevate the Padel X digital aesthetic
• Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and messaging
• Align content with ongoing marketing campaigns
• Maintain organized systems for tracking, reporting, and asset storage
TOOLS & WAYS OF WORKING
• Use Notion (or similar) for content planning and task tracking
• Use platform-native scheduling tools or approved schedulers
• Use Google Workspace or Microsoft Office for reporting
• Use Canva and mobile editing tools for quick-turn content
• Comfortable shooting and editing on iPhone
PROFILE WE ARE REALISTICALLY LOOKING FOR
Experience
2 to 4 years of experience in:
• Social media management
• Content creation and short-form video editing
• Community management
Experience in sports, hospitality, fitness, or lifestyle brands is a strong plus.
Understanding of racquet sports culture is highly preferred.
