What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at Padel Plant?
We are looking for a talented and passionate barista with significant experience in a high volume coffee shop who is looking to take on a leadership role helping run the cafe.
Looking for someone with morning and daytime availability. Monday through Sunday 7:30 AM-4:00 PM. We need someone for 20-40 hours a week, so the more days available to work the better. MUST BE AVAILABLE ON WEEKENDS to be considered. We are looking for a full time person or the right part time person (with a minimum of 20 hours a week).
Expectations include:
Work solo for the majority of the shift and lead a team of one or more people during busier shifts.
Manage inventory
Serve specialty drinks like espresso beverages, matcha, and more.
Serve pastries, and food from our restaurant, Smokestack Pizza, during its hours of operation.
Book people for court time on our padel and pickleball courts.
Answer the phone and be the face of Padel Plant for anyone walking into our facility during your shift.
Facilitate service during public and private events in our facility.
Follow all policies and handbook regulations.
Help clean and maintain the facility including dining room, cafe, patio, bathrooms, and other common spaces.
