PADCOM Design & Construction Management Services LLC is seeking a Field Supervisor (Hand Grader) to support the Los Angeles Unified School District Facilities Services Division on the Facilities Condition Assessment (FCA) program. Assignment runs through September 30, 2026 with position availability through September 30, 2028.

Position Overview
The Field Supervisor will identify and collect building component data on systems installed at LAUSD sites, assess overall condition and remaining service life of building system components, and collaborate with other trade surveyors across a multi-year facilities condition assessment program.
Responsibilities
- Identify and collect building component data on systems installed at District sites
- Use tablets, laptops, smartphones, and other computer formats to enter survey data
- Apply construction knowledge and experience to identify building systems hidden behind walls, ceilings, and floors
- Assess overall condition and remaining service life (RSL) of building system components, applying LAUSD-specific FCA Unit leadership guidance
- Work collaboratively with other trade surveyors to gather quantities, measurements, and boilerplate information
- Conduct and support ad hoc surveys related to District sites and buildings as needed
- Supervise the performance of survey staff and participants as needed and serve as a resource to staff
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management from a recognized college or university, OR at least 10 years of qualifying experience (4 of the 10 years may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis)
- 6 or more years of full-time professional experience working with on-site construction management teams as well as campus administrators, faculty, and staff
