What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner position at PAD Specialists?
Description:
- Travel to our satellite clinics in Alamogordo and Las Cruses will be required.
- 100% outpatient position -- no hospital work, no call.
- Full-time position, 4-5 days/week, 8-5p or so
- Lead the Consult Team (NP, MA, and US tech) in diagnosing PAD, and deciding whether or not a revascularization procedure is needed or not. This consists of meticulous H&Ps, empathetic and confidence-inspiring patient interaction, and precise documentation.
- While the NP does not have any direct reports, by virtue of your education and clinical knowledge, you do function as an informal leader in all our clinics.
- May be required to train at other clinical positions in the clinic, to help cross-cover as needed.
- From time-to-time the NP will also accompany the facility's Business Development Associate & Community Liaison to market out in the field, meet Referring Physicians/Providers, and conduct educational seminars.

Requirements:
- Certified Nurse Practitioners only
- Some travel required (milage reimbursed)
- Meticulous documentation in our EMR is required, so strong English language skills are important.
- A customer service-oriented attitude, charisma, and excellent bedside manner.

- Initial 60-day Compatibility Period (CP) at a slightly reduced pay rate. Upon completion of this CP, pay goes to 100%.
